Your beliefs are like the operating system for your life. Choose them wisely.
What you focus on expands. Make sure you're focusing on things that matter. The more attention you give to something, the greater percentage of your world it will occupy.
Be selective about what you choose to value and what you choose to focus on. These things will become your reality, for better or for worse.

Beliefs are the stories we tell ourselves about our abilities, our circumstances, and the world around us.
Limiting beliefs are those specific stories that hold us back in some way from becoming who we truly want to be. Often, they are unquestioned and/or unconscious.
If we want to create lasting change in our lives, we need to let go of our limiting beliefs and cultivate empowering beliefs that support our growth.
As we go through life, we often accumulate beliefs, mental programs, and psychic baggage that do not belong to us. They were passed down to us by someone else.
Maybe it was a friend's offhand negative remark that you took personally. Maybe one of your parents unintentionally transferred their own limiting beliefs to you.
A lot of what weighs you down isn't yours to carry. Let go of what isn't yours. Take inventory of your beliefs and the mental patterns you follow without even thinking. Do they belong to you? Or did you unwittingly inherent them from someone else?
